Planned to be erected early Spring 2010 is an Octagon home. The octagon truss roof system is made of yellow cedar which is joined in the center with an octagonal boss pin. The truss system will certainly be the focal point of this home and is unique to any other. The home will also feature a wrap around deck and a timber framed covered entry also in yellow cedar. After preliminary conceptual designs were created in house, we referred the client to a designer, Paul Hogan with Streamline Designs. Paul is designing a complete set of architectural plans for this project including the 3D renderings that are pictured here. In addition, Chip Harper, owner of Hot for Cad, completed the 3D renderings of the timber work from our in house design.
